Disaster Relief Mobile Application

Project Overview

A mobile application developed to support humanitarian response efforts during the Derna hurricane disaster. The app enabled real-time reporting, tracking, and coordination to assist affected communities and relief teams in the field.

This solution was designed specifically as a mobile-only platform to ensure accessibility and rapid deployment during emergency conditions.


Problem / Challenge

Relief teams required a fast, reliable way to:

  • Collect real-time data from affected areas

  • Track case status and aid distribution

  • Operate in unstable network environments

  • Provide accurate, up-to-date information to decision-makers

Manual reporting and fragmented communication systems made coordination difficult and delayed response efforts.

A lightweight, user-friendly mobile application that enabled:

  • Field teams to submit real-time reports

  • Centralized tracking of cases and aid requests
